Retirement party scheduled
for County Extension Agent

Plans are underway for a retirement party honoring Neosho County Extension Agent Lois Carlson. The party is set for June 6th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Central Park Pavilion, 100 S. Forest. The afternoon will begin with a catered meal at noon for those wishing to come early. Cost of the meal is $10 and reservations are required prior to May 28th. Following the meal special presentations  will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Office staff is currently collecting news articles, photographs and historic memorabilia accumulated during the 40 years Lois has served as the county extension agent. Anyone wanting to contribute to the Memory Book or to make luncheon reservations can call Nancy Kernick at (620) 244-3826. Donations are also being accepted for a retirement gift.
