Enjoy Chanute Parks

Santa Fe Park: The largest park in Chanute contains six ball diamonds, horseshoes, sand volleyball court, playground equipment, fishing, boating and picnic areas and shelters. A 3.ll mile hike/bike path leads to the Martin Johnson Airport. Other interests: Historic Austin Bridge and 762 Steam Engine.
Central Park: Great playground equipment, horseshoes, picnic area and the Central Park Pavilion. To reserve the Pavilion call Chanute Recreation and Parks office  at 431-4199.
Katy Park: Home to Chanute's historic swimming pool, baseball stadium, basketball court, handball court, tennis court, shelter house/picnic area, playground, and a newly constructed skate board park.
Highland Park: Shelter houses, picnic areas, fountain area, playground and tennis courts provide a relaxing fun park.
North Malcolm: The North Malcolm Community Center and playground equipment are features of this site. To reserve the community center contact  the Chanute Recreation and Parks office at (620) 431-4199
