The Chamber was host to a political forum for the 10 local residents vying for a seat on the Chanute City Commission. The forum was held February 24th in the Chanute Memorial Auditorium. The top six candidates will advance to the general election April 5th. The six will be invited to participate in the Chamber's next forum March 31st.
