Lanco Satellite opens Independence store

Lanco Satellite & Home Theater of Chanute is proud and excited to announce the opening of their second store in Independence. Owners, Julie and Larry Stanislaus, have owned Lanco since 1989 after buying the business from Lance Stanislaus, who started the company in 1984.


Lanco Satellite sells Dish Network, DirecTV, C-Band, and Direct WAY Internet Satellite Systems. Lanco also specialized in custom Home Theater Systems for new construction and existing homes by offering big screen televisions, surround sound systems, outdoor and custom in-wall and ceiling speaker systems, along with phone, data, cat5 and audio-video wiring. Lanco's Chanute store is located at 708 South Santa Fe.


Larry says customer service is and always has been Lanco's #1 priority and the new location will allow the business to expanded services further into southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma. "We will be adding more techs to cover and even greater area," he said. "Setting up the new store was so fun and so easy that (he) wouldn't be surprised if there's a third store in the near future."

The Independence store is located in the International Mall at 325 North Penn Ave. They currently employ one full and one part-time technician and have a two-person sales staff.
