Keeping in line with the vision created in the Terry Woodbury Building Community project, two events have been scheduled to help meet the education and job placement goals for residents of Chanute. A community wide Job Fair will be held at the Central Park Pavilion on Saturday, October 22^nd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a Career Fair for students at Chanute High School on Friday, November 4th, in Ralph Miller Gymnasium from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. The job fairs will be used as a tool to inform the target age group, 16 to 24-years, as to education, vocational training or apprenticeship requirements. Chanute High School juniors and seniors will be required to attend the career fair during their Advisory Time period. Both events have been offered to the business community free of charge.
