Chanute Mexican Fiesta Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025

EXCITING NEWS!! LA-45 will be the band for our Fiesta on Sept 20, 2025. They tour throughout the nation and have performed with Little Joe, Ruben Ramos, and other well know artists and bands. The band also consists of some Hispanic Grammy Award Winners.
Please make plans to come celebrate with us to make it one of the best Fiestas ever!
We will have DJ Conan playing the best music throughout the day to keep the celebration going all afternoon!!
12:00PM-4:00PM – We will have Mariachi Jalisco from Wichita serenading the crowds! If you like great music and your own mini concert, you have to come down and check these guys out!
1:00PM-8:00PM – We will have an inflatable setup, FREE OF CHARGE, courtesy of the Chanute Mexican Fiesta Committee! So be sure to let the kids burn off some energy throughout the day!
2:00PM – During a break from Mariachi Jalisco, our local dance group, Bailadores de Chanute will perform a dance set on our dance floor! Come out, get your seats and cheer them on!!
5:00PM – While everyone is out getting dinner and getting their seats for our evening program, SEK Folklorico from Pittsburg will perform a set of 8 dances for your viewing pleasure!! Get your seats early and enjoy their show!!
Our program will start at 6:30PM. During this time, we will have the Procession of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The singing of both the American National Anthem as well as the Mexican National Anthem as each flag is being presented.
The introduction of our 2024 Royalty followed by the introduction of our 2025 Royalty.
We will then be crowning:
Adan Coronado as our 2025 Fiesta Little Prince
Trayson Colter as our 2025 Fiesta Little King
Kamila Morris as our 2025 Fiesta Little Queen
Alex Ogle as our 2025 Fiesta King
Yareli Medrano as our 2025 Fiesta Princess
Xochiti Vargas Cervantes as our 2025 Fiesta Queen.
The 108th Chanute Mexican Fiesta will honor Rocky and Vera De La Torre & Family for their years of participation and support they have given to the Fiesta and the countless years they have spent promoting and sharing our culture and traditions.
Next, Bailadores de Chanute take the dance floor over again and will perform another dance set for your enjoyment!
Following Bailadores de Chanute, we will have Grupo Folklorico Izcalli from Kansas City, performing dance routines from various regions of Mexico. This group has been with us the last several years and we couldn’t be more excited to have them back! These ladies put on a great performance and bring tons of energy and excitement!
The evening program will end with El Grito de Independencia by Ricardo Vargas. If you have never had the opportunity to hear Ricardo recite El Grito, I would highly recommend you be there for it this year! He does an amazing job, full of energy and passion!
The first song/dance will be a dance for our Royalty, in their honor.
Then from 9PM-1AM, the band, LA45 from San Antonio, Texas, will be entertaining us with great live music along with 151 Entertainment providing lights and sound and an open dance floor for the rest of the evening!!
We are looking forward to seeing you all for the 108th Chanute Mexican Fiesta!

We do have vendors that only accept cash, so be sure to plan accordingly. This is an open cooler event, please plan accordingly.
