Community National Bank & Trust was nominated by the Chanute Chamber for a Business Appreciation Month Award given by the Kansas Dept. of Commerce. CNB&T was selected as one of five finalists across the state to compete for the Governor’s Award of Excellence, the highest honor given to a business in Kansas.

Mike Reid was honored with the 2012 Partner in Progress Award at the Chamber Annual Meeting on Feb. 18, 2013. Mike was recognized for his commitment to the Chamber and the community through his many activities such as the Friends of Tri-Valley Foundation board and the Chanute Housing Authority board.

PostRock Energy Corporation was honored as the 2013 Business of the Year at the annual awards luncheon held June 12.
Chanute Mayor Kevin Berthot and Chris Cleaver, 2013 Chamber board president, presented the award to Clark Edwards, VP of Operations. Several PostRock employees were on hand to help celebrate the recognition.
